Orphan Orangutans

Orangutan Foundation International and is currently staffed by full-­‐time Indonesian veterinarians with a local medical doctor on call. The Center currently employs over 130 local staff and takes care of 330 orangutan orphans, all of whom eventually will be released into the wild.

We had to have physical and a TB test before we could enter the orphanage as human diseases can kill the orangutans. We had to wash out hands, wear a mask to protect them.
